I have yet to meet anyone, who grew up with the desire to be a salesperson.

For most, some set of circumstances led them into something to do with sales. Some family, friend or event led them into their first sales position. Some benefited from some initial sales training, while others developed their skills by a trial and error method. Some succeeded, while many others failed and went on to either blame the job, the manager, the company, the leads and yet others simply struggle each day without a clear understanding as to why. 

 

I was fortunate, I learned early on in my life that anything you what to succeed at, you must first believe that you will. I grew up with an internal beleive of "What You believe is What You will Acheive" I benefited from having two older brothers, brother in law and sister that are mentors in my life. All were sucessusful in sales in one form or other, which enable each of them to own and operate very succesful businesses. The one most critcally important aspect I learned from them is, in order to be successful I would need to truly believe in myself and always work on improving my sales skills each and every day.

 

Once I recogonized and understood the benefit of this lesson, it enabled me to experience sales and personal success which is what I now share and incorporate in my business and services.

 

I am truly passionate about Sales and Sharing what I have learned, and could not ever see myself doing anything else.

My in-depth knowledge in sales and management come from my vast experience. I developed and crafted my skills from having successfully worked in virtually every sales venue there is. I sold and managed for a wide range of corporations including IBM, Craftmatic Adjustable beds, PF Collier Encyclopedias, ADT Security Services, Protection One, Brinks Home Security in addition owned, operated and sold a successful office supply business.

 

Due to my proficiency and success in the sales field, several of the companies had asked me to become their certified sales and management trainer to aide in the development of others. It was this exposure; I gained my passion for training, which I now incorporate into my consulting business. All of my training and development programs, along with my consultation methods have been written and designed from my actual training certifications, along with my field sales and management experience and success.

 

Before embarking into my consulting business, I was promoted to several key upper management roles where I gained my vast managerial experience. It is there where I received my certifications in management, recruiting and Interviewing. I have managed multiple branch operations with staffs in excess of 180 and millions in revenue.

 

I personally recruited, hired and trained, hundreds of sales and management professionals, many of whom went on to advancing career positions within their organization.

 

I pride myself and being extremely proficient in the “One Call Close Sales Method” of selling along with having a strong talent in networking and account development.

    • Direct Responsibility for the daily operation and management of New Jersey Branch office. As a “DGM” I was responsible for the growth, development 4 NE branches and the training of their GM’s

    • Reduced District Operational expense by 31% from prior year.

  • General Manager

    • Responsible for NY Branch Operations & their 184 Associates, Insured Growth in All lines of Business, Sales, Installation, Service & Admin, Managed a Recurring Annual Revenue Base of 23 million dollars. Full Responsibility for preparation & management of P &L & Budget.

    • Achieved 103% of assigned Budget for 2001. Awarded GM Rebuilder of the Year 2001

  • Commercial Sales Manager

    • Increased sales from 3.1 million to 11.4 million. Increased Sales Team from 6 reps to 21 reps.

    • Aided in the development & delivery of “Existing Base Rep” Sales Training Program.

    • Aided in the delivery of Companies First “General Managers Training” program

  • Residential Sales Manager,

    • Hired, Trained and Developed direct sales team from 10 Reps to 18 Reps

    • 110% Sales Plan from 1995 to 1996. Awarded Sales Manager of Year 1996

    • Managed team which set the Northeast Sales Record for 704 Sales in one month.     

  • Residential Sales Supervisor,

    • Supervised & trained 6 reps in Brooklyn/Staten Island Territory.

    • Wrote, Developed, Trained & managed companies “In-House” outbound telemarketing program which utilized internal company personnel.

    • Maintained 100% sales quota through first 16 months

    •  Earned Sales Achievement “Club Excellence” Vice President award for 1994 & 1995

  • Sales Manager,

    • Sale of educational material to schools & direct to parents in their homes. Created leads through networking within the school system. Managed, trained and created daily Leads for 6-10 Sales Reps.

  • Sales & Marketing Manager, -

    • Responsible for the servicing and cultivation of retail & commercial contract office furniture wholesale distributor. Designed and developed new marketing and pricing dealer program.

  • Independent Sales Rep/ Recruitment & Training Development Manager

    • Sale of “Custom” High Ticket adjustable bed in the home on a “One Call” Close Basis,

    • Earn Top Sales Awards. Aided in the Recruitment & Training of new sales Reps

    • Responsible for establishing a customer base and marketing program this new Office product venture.

    • Established 350 Accounts and developed and trained new sales representatives within a one year period.
